Outdoor probe battery life

Is anyone else having problems with the outdoor probe battery life. I bought 2 probes earlier this year. One has been working fine for 9 months and still shows decent battery voltage. It's been sending readings every10-15 minutes.

The other died completely after just 3 months, whilst sending readings once every hour.

Any suggestions?

PS hAve just noticed a tiny date o the battery: 2013-05. If that's an expiry date, why the hell are these guys sending out batteries with new sensors that are 6 years past their use-by date??!!!

I suspect batteries.  Here's recent data showing that one of my sensors is lasting much longer than the others, despite their temps and range from base station all being about the same:

I have found thatsetting the interval between readings to be the longest I can tollerate makes a big difference to the indoor battery life. But these new "improved" outdoor batteries were supposed to last forever, or at least, a very long time. That's the whole point of them being bigger.

So why the friggin hell are WST sending out dead (or very, very old) batteries out with new products?

I have never received a low battery from them. I doubt highly they did so. Check all your settings. Make sure the tag is in low power mode, etc.

The post with my graph didn't make it clear that I too have never received bad batteries from Wireless Sensors.  Those graphs show battery life of batteries that have been replaced many times purchased through Amazon of lots of about 10 or so.
