This may be covered elsewhere, so please direct me. I want to detect when my vacation property's power fails. I have a Tag Manager, Ethernet-to-WiFi adapter and a wireless Internet Hotspot all on UPS power back-up -- they work during a regional power failure.
One thought is to use a house-powered electromagnet placed near a Reed WirelessTagSensor.
Another thought is to use a house-powered relay connected to the exposed contacts of a Water WirelessTagSensor.
Is there a better way?

when house power cuts I recive a txt with power off and one when power is restored. its has secuirty on it and can alert 1 or several mobiles. put ina pay as you go sim with £5 on it and lasts years. it has a temp alert
