Hello, I would like to measure the temperature of my roof during the summer.  Can the tags survive being outdoors on a roof?  I know that the range is up to 185F but what about exposure to the sun, will that cause any issues?   Will the Wireless Sensor Tag Pro ALS survive being outside constantly?

What about measuring the roof temperature from the inside in the attic?

You can use reed sensor with DS18B20 external water proof temperature probe.

Thank you.  So I would need to disassemble the reed sensor and connect the probe to it?  are there any documents that can help me with this?

Also, are you saying that the rainproof Pro ALS tag isn't suitable for this?  Will it melt or go bad if left like that?
