Hi,

I've been using this tag for some time now and it has worked very well.  Recently it was no longer detectable so I replaced the battery.  That didn't help, so I dis-associated the tag and shorted the correct pins on the tag to reset everything.  I then re-associated the tag successfully as a new tag, got the confirming beeps, etc.  Then when I immediately try and have the tag beep or try and ping the tag it says it is out of range although the tag is just a couple of feet away from the manager.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Do you have the temperature reading displayed on the newly associated tag?

Hi and thanks for the quick response.  As seen above, there is no temp reading.

This looks like the tag is not associated.

The battery voltage "3.18" is what was returned by the tag as response to the "Search new tag" button.

No temperature is returned, which is only returned as response to the update command.

First, click Settings->Undelete a tag, to make sure all tags are showing up. Click update or light on command on each one to see if any can control the tag.

If none can control it, the tag is still not associated. The LED should be flashing. If not flashing, please open the case and short hole #3 with #1 to reset the flash memory (http://store.wirelesstag.net/pages/support#factory_reset) Once the LED is flashing you can search & associate it again.

Thanks for the reply.  As I indicated in my first post, I had already done a reset on the tag, but based on your input I decided to try it again, and so far it is working correctly.

Thanks again,
