setting up system then moving to another location

I want to set up my sensors at my home and then relocate it to a rental property I have.  Can I go through the whole set up and then just transport the unit and sensors to new wifi and plug it in there?  Will I still be able to monitor it from anywhere in the world?  Or doees the unit have to be set up at the location (ip address) it is going to live?
