I am not sure if this should be obvious, maybe someone can point me in the right direction.

How can I use a wireless tag to turn off/on a smartthings wall outlet based on temperature? (example: if Tag1 temp is greater than XX, turn on Smartthings outlet)

Thanks!

Thanks.

It looks like even with IFTT, this is not possible unless I make use of a Kumo app? I think the only way to do this is via a Kumo app writing a log, and IFTT reading the log. This is a great start and I will investigate. But if anyone has any other ideas, without using Kumo apps, please let me know.

Why do you think is not possible? Have you tried to connect the temp too high/low triggers to switch on/off actions?

You could also do by adding your tags to SmartThings then use too cold, virtual thermostat or similar smart app to control the outlet.
