Hi,

How can I reset everything ? I had an old TAG-mgr with 4 Tags, added a new Tag-manager (grouped it with the old), added the 2 new tags - and started playing ... the tags were not reacting swiftly, so I decided to change the frequency .... there everything went wrong; some of the tag migrated, others did not; then I decided to use the same frequency on the other Tag-mgr --> more problems; now only one is working ...
Then I removed the old Tag-mgr (the new is better and there might be some interferention ...) - the new still displayed that it was group with the old (non-existing one) ....

I think it is best to reset everything; unlink the tag-mgr from my account and un-associate the tags with the tag-mgr .... and start all over with only the tag-manager ...

Can some-one tell me how I should do this ? I can not un-associate, because the tags do not react - and I can not remove all tag-mgrs from my account ?

regards,

Chris

There is two kinds of account, "user account" and "tag manager account". You can connect multiple tag manager account to single user account and you can also connect multiple user account to a single tag manager account. Tag manager account is created when the hardware is manufactured, you cannot remove it. The tags are associated with tag manager account.
So you just need to add the tag manager back (connect it again to your user account).

If some did not migrate, you just need to click the migrate button on those to retry. Migrate is the same operation as associate under the hood, so if you can associate a tag you can migrate it.
If some did migrate, it can still show the migrate button. In this case click more...->use new frequency.

To reset the tags' flash memory, ply open the cover using a 2mm slotted driver and short pin 1 & 3 (3&5 for water, see mytaglist.com/longrange_intro.html#sec2 for picture). To reset tag manager, just unassociate all tags (let it time out and click "remove" ). When all tags are gone, you can choose the frequency you like (using wireless options and migrate) immediately (because no tag needs migration). Then, associate tags one by one. They will be associated to the tag manager frequency you just chose.
