Kumo Temperature Apps Not Running

I can't seem to get any Kumo Too Hot/Too Cold apps to trigger... hoping there's just something simple I'm missing.

I'm trying to have my WirelessTag turn on a Wemo switch at a desired temperature. I've installed three different Kumo apps at three different times, all designed to trigger a Wemo based on temp, but none of them have worked. I have the WirelessTag app configured to monitor the temperature and it is working properly (I assume this is the range that the Kumo uses).

Mainly trying "When temperature is too high, turn on Wemo, when temperature is back to normal, turn off Wemo". The app seems to be installed correctly, listed as "App has been started successfully", but it has never actually ran.

I tried another Kumo app using the Tag's Motion Sensor and it triggers the Wemo just fine. The Tag and Wemo also work fine with IFTTT.

Is there another temperature setting I'm missing?

FYI, the other two Kumo temp apps I've tried (and had the same results) are...
"When temperature is too high, turn on Wemo, when temperature is back to normal, turn off Wemo (with delay)"
"When temperature is too low, turn on Wemo, when temperature is back to normal, turn off Wemo 1"

I'm currently working on a similar project and had similar issues.

I opted to create my own (private) IFTTT app and found that in order to get the triggers to do anything you need to do the following.

> In "Temperature Sensor Options" enable "Monitor Temperature" by ticking the checkbox.

> Configure "Monitor Temperature" to your applications specific needs.
ex. My requirements are to power on a Wemo Switch if the temp is above 30C and to power off the Wemo Switch if the temp is below 30C.  I want to keep the temp as consistent as possible.  I'm still tweaking with the settings to get the best balance of trigger frequency and temp.

Attached is a screenshot of my current settings on the tag.  (I'm using the webapp found at https://www.mytaglist.com/eth/ )

They seem to be working well, except that my Tag Manger goes offline every few hours.

Thanks B:) I finally got mine working but I honestly don't know how:/

My Temperature Monitoring settings were similar to yours but something just wasn't triggering any Kumo temp app. I eventually deleted each Kumo and started over with just one, and it first it didn't work, but after adjusting my target temp range one more time (using the sliders this time instead of manually entering the numbers), it magically fired my Wemo. I also narrowed my threshold window, but I can't imagine that affected things much.
(settings attached)

All in all I've been very happy with the WirelessTags. They seem to be reliable, consistent, and now with working Kumo apps (as opposed to IFTTT), they are incredibly useful.

I realized after posting that you were probably talking about the Kumo apps.  I didn't even know they had them and started looking through them right after posting.

This is my first use of these tags and for simplicity sake, I just used IFTTT, which this is also my first use of.

What problems did you experience with IFTTT?

my application is very temperature sensitive, and I had some problems with the tag manager going off-line multiple times a day which caused the temp to drop or rise dramatically since there was no trigger to turn off the cooling.  my fix for that was to power it with another Wemo outlet, and have that power cycle every half hour, since that was my solution to the tag manager going offline.

As far as use of the web app, I'm typing in the ranges and thresholds and not using any of the sliders.

I've never really had any specific problems with IFTTT, it just tends to be a little slow. As far as I know it only polls for updates every 15 minutes. The benefit of the Kumo app is that it runs native to the WirelessTag system and integrates directly with Wemo plugs...it's still cloud based, but runs much quicker.  In my case, if my apartment temperature reaches the minimum or maximum I've set up, my Wemo power is toggled immediately...rather than waiting on IFTTT.

It's definitely been a more efficient solution for me, but then again I've never had any issues with my Tag Manager going offline.
