I am having a issue when opening the android app that it then starts off triggering the notification sound and phone to vibrate many times. It is not a set number of times and continues after I close the app. So for example I could open the app and it could set of 5 notifications. This can be quite annoying when I can to take a quick glance at the app. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, but didn't resolve the issue.

Could there be a setting that I need to change to stop getting lots of notifications after opening the Tag App? I can  get up to around 10 notification with nothing happening on the screen.

I have tried logging into the Tag web login as I normally just use the android app. When I login on the computer I get the same thing where many notifications come through. I just sat back and listened to the notification come through on the computer without doing anything for around 3 minuets. There was 13 notification that randomly came through. Only the sounds gets played like on the android app, no notifications are recorded or shown.

What could be happening here please tag support?

If you don't want any notification, simply disarm the tags and disable temperature/humidity monitoring.
The notification when generated by these motion / temperature / humidity monitoring will be stored with tag until they are heard by the user when the app is opened.

Is it possible to make the app only play back new notification when the app is opened? I will want to have notification when the app is not opened, however when the app is opened and is playing back notification sounds with no new events displayed on the screen, it doesn't associate the sounds to anything. I will also note that the notification sound is the general android notification sound, not any custom sounds associated in the Tag app. It would be great to open the Tag app and not have it play back a long list of past stored notifications while the app is being viewed. Is this possible please? Maybe a option to stop (cancel) past notifications when app is opened?

Thanks for the feedback. I agree with what you said. With today's Android app update 2.13.6 this problem is addressed. If a push notification is received that causes notification sound to be played (note: if the device is silent or vibrate only mode, this does not apply), then the next time app is opened to foreground, the notification will not play again. Could you take a look at this version and let me know if this is what you wanted.

Thank you for the reply. I would say almost and this was a good change, I will give a example of what I find can be a bit annoying.

Today while I am at work I have the phone on silent for the full day while working. I use a Kumo app to automatically arm the tags when two peoples tags have gone out of range. I have a notification on the screen that says when the two tags have gone out of range. I open the app just to check if everything has armed and it was suppose to, which only takes a quick check of the app. However when I open the app like I did this morning, my phone vibrates in this case 4 times with no new information displayed on the screen. The problem here is, I would like to quickly check the Tag app while my phone is on  silent and the phone continues to vibrate while I am putting it back into my pocket. At times it continues to vibrate in my pocket as it can vibrate more than 4 times after the Tag app has been opened.

If the tag app would also not continue to vibrate the phone on silent from old notification after being opened would be perfect please if possible.

Hello Tag support. It's great that you resolved a build up of notification sounds being played when the app is opened thank you. I am wondering please if this change could also be done if the phone is on silent? It would be great to open the app for a quick check of tags while the phone is on silent and not have the phone vibrate a number of times after being opened, from old notifications. Is this possible please?

All I'm asking for is not have the phone vibrate lots of times when I open the tag application with the phone on silent. It's really annoying to open the app to see if the tags have armed, for then the phone to vibrate many times. Can this please be fixed tag support? I don't see the purpose for the app to be left this way, you fix it with the phone at normal volume, but chose not too for when it was on silent. Can there at least be a option for the app to behave in this manner or not please?
