Which thermostats does that work with?

I’d love to replace my thermostat with sensor tags but I don’t want to pay the high price for a Nest (especially when I won’t use it for it’s “learning” feature anyways). Would be nice to use one of these cheap ones from inside the app.

+1 to integrate with Honeywell Total Connect Comfort / RedLink thermostats

I wish the motion sensor tags could also report a contact closure. There's 5 contact points on the circuit board, probably for testing, but perhaps the device could report two of them being connected or not? Or add another one...
Yeah, I’m pretty sure they just go to the flash rom and CPU for programming and resetting.
It would be great if there was a tool like the WeMo Maker, which is what Dave is looking for. Sensor port and maybe a low power relay? That would be awesome.
I have a laundry list of things I’d love to use that with. Notification when the dryer is finished, hook up to power meter to monitor power usage, connect to doorbell to see when it’s rung, etc.

Thanks for the suggestions. We are currently working on Integrating with Honeywell Total Connect series Thermostat to achieve same levels of functionality as Nest Thermostat integration. ETA end of this month.

Seconded! I’ve been looking to get a Maker to do some of the things the tags can’t do.

Subject: [Wireless Sensor Tags Forum] Re: Request for Comment: What products do you want Wireless Sensor Tags to integrate with?
Any thoughts to supporting Wemo Makers directly without IFTTT? That doesn't appear to be a device I can currently associate.
Thanks!

Would be nice to see this in Indigo (Mac home automation platform) which uses Python for its plugin language.
PRTG would be nice. I have a script the does the scrapping currently, but something more native would be nice.

I'd like someone to develope a solenoid driven floor register to control the air flow from my furnace.
Paired with a wireless tag, a floor register can control the amount of heat or cool air in each room. The louvers can be opened or closed by a selinoid (powered by two D Cell batteries)
As the sun travels from one room to another, the power floor register can open and close as needed.
Any thoughts?

As I have now switched all of my home automation to a new Wink Hub 2 I would very much like to see Wink integration come to Wireless Sensor Tags.
Thanks in advance!
