My reed sensor on the front door has logged two "closed" events. Once when I left and then rather than logging an open even when I came back, it logged another closed event meaning my actions were not triggered.

See picture attached.

Any idea why?

This is a limitation of the reed sensor. The reed sensor does not have infinite queue in its memory to buffer open/closed when tag manager cannot be immediately reached (for example tag manager may be receiving event from another tag or busy sending out command;) in such case the reed sensor will re-try sending the event after a few seconds. By the time the reed sensor retry sending event, if the door is already closed, a closed event rather than the initial opened event will be sent.  This makes sense for customers who are using reed sensor as a switch for light etc because if sensor is opened and then immediately closed, it is better to not trigger anything at all than trigger with a delay and then untrigger it with a delay.
