Hi,

I just get the devices today with 10 tags and 1 tag manager. The tags were placed to different places that distance between the some tags and manager is so far. For this reason, signal strenght is not enough.
Is there any signal repeater to extend range? I think it works with radio signal so wifi repeaters dont work, am I right ?

Thanks,
Volkan

Hi Volkan

I have grouped a 2nd tag manger and it extends the range as the tags drift to the nearest manger

Because of the range between adsl modem and sensors I cant use 2nd tag manager.

I found following device on the internet ? Does it work with tag manager ? Or can I hack the antena to increase range ?

It’s hard to tell especially since that page isn’t in English but I don’t think that would work. You would be better off trying to use WiFi to put the tag manager farther out.

Something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Netis-WF2414-Wireless-Repeater-Advanced/dp/B00BS49ZF8

It has an external antenna, so you can get a directional antenna for it if you need to. You can also put this device closer to your router and run a longer Ethernet cable to the tag manager.

Can you give us an idea of what kind of environment this is?

Check with the makers to see what type of chipset they are using as that repeater is for Supporting 2262 / 2240 / 1527 Chips

If A repeater works they should offer or suggest one.
