I'm trying to decide between the Pro and the Reed Kumosensor. Looking to use it in tenant space -- so, I ideally would want longer battery life which the Reed seems to give.  Probably 30 minute check-in/logging and adjustment of thermostat (Nest).  But, I wouldn't mind a yearly battery change if the Pro is going to function better and more reliable for reporting back/adjusting the Nest in the long term.

The tags are likely going to be about about a combined (vertical + horizontal) 50-70 feet from the Tag Manager..

Can the tags be set for different temperature ranges throughout the day?

- battery life with 30 minute check-ins

- range

- nest integration and control

Thanks in advance.

I use the PIR in several of my apartments.  I set the nest on Business (This prevents the Nighttime Setback as I have shift workers) and allow the PIR Sensors to switch the Nest from Home to Away.  The problem I now have, is the Kumo App I was using isn't listed any more, I see nothing for Home/Away settings, confusing to say the least.  My next step is to tie place Reed Sensors on the windows and what not to keep the heat inside.

Hope this helps,
John
