Orchard Application

I have a wireless moisture monitoring application where the moisture will be measured approximately 6" below grade and the data wirelessly transmitter to a data logger. The data will be compiled and used to direct irrigation. The application is a 10,000 tree orchard with 3 irrigation zones. I anticipate each zone will require at least 10 sensors. The signal from the sensor can be 4-20madc, 0-5vdc or pulsed. The sensors have to be reliable and able to transmit for a minimum of 2 years without a battery change.
