New to the product. I set it up a few days ago and after about 1-2 days my Ethernet tag manager keeps locking up. Router reboot does nothing to help. Only thing that works is rebooting the tag manager. Internet is fine at my house and very fast 100Mbs up and down. Is my system defective?

How does it lock up? Do all your tags stop working?

What lights are on when it "locks up"?
It may not be tag manager locking up if remote reboot works. It may be some different problem.

All lights are on when it locks up. I did not try a remote reboot as I just pulled the power locally. When it locks up all 6 of the connected tags stop working. Here is a picture of the device in its locked up state.

Looks like hardware defect. Do you want replacement to be sent to same shipping address as order #4834?

Looks like I am having the same problem with the new tag manager as well as the old one. Is there some sort of debug I can run to help troubleshoot this further?
Thanks,
Mike

I did. It happened originally within about an hour of hooking the new one up. Then I moved it to another part of my house and plugged it into a different switch (different model). I had the same problem.

Does it happen after random time passed since first power on, or always after about fixed amount of time (e.g. 2 minutes?) The tag manager is designed to reset after 2 minutes if it is somehow stuck in a infinite loop, and when it resets it is like initial power on when all 5 lights goes on for ~2 seconds.

The problem happens randomly. It was happening between 1 - 2 hours and when I moved it it last for a day or so. It usually is within the first 24 hours though.

Any other thoughts here? I am willing to try anything at this point. I love the sensors I just need them to be stable. This is a random occurrence.

When it "locks up" do you mean that all lights are on and keep that state forever (longer than ~5 minutes) until you unplug the power?
Can you plug in both tag managers and let me know (privately) the serial numbers of these, we can start a monitoring process on the server side to capture more information.

Yes to the forever state. I will plug them both in this evening and provide you serial numbers.
