Greetings Support. I have written you before with this same issue.

For months and months now when I leave my residence, all my tags arm correctly.  Great!  However once I return to my residence and open the Wireless Tag APP on my iPhone 10 for the first time, my screen is completely BLACK.  I have to close the APP and relaunch it before I can gain access into the APP again. This happens EVERY TIME I leave my residence and then return. Do you know if this will be fixed in the future?

I have deleted and reinstalled the APP several times to no avail.

The app is supposed to notify through push notification like message when not open, and yellowish box inside the app (the same style as message like "tag did not respond this time, please try again") when it is open, every time the phone enters or leave KumoApp configured location.  Such as "%@ the region around %@, attempting to trigger KumoApp..." or "%@ the region around %@, KumoApp has been triggered."  Do you receive such notification?  The logic is the same for entering and leaving region, so if you just left home and open the app, do you also experience the same black  screen problem?

Thank you for your reply.  I only have one Geofence area defined which is my home. The App does notify me with “attempting to trigger KumoApp”, quickly followed by the “KumoApp has been triggered” when I leave my home and then again when I return home.  All that works perfectly.  


However when I open the app for the “first time” while outside of my Geofence area, or after I return home, I always receive the completely Black screen.  Once I have swiped up on the iPhone to close the app then open it a second time, all is well again.

Has you found any fix for this issues?  It still happens whenever I open the app after going out of and then returning into my Home Geofence area.  I always received a BLACK screen on my first time opening the App.  I DO receive the push notices about "Attempting to Trigger KumoApp and also KumoApp has been triggered.  Those always work.  It is just the App that always gives me a completely BLACK screen when I open it after returning into my home area.  Thank you for any update!!

This happens when you have too many apps in the background of the IOS device.
Close all the background apps and restart the iOs program.

This is a known issue, I wish it would be fixed, its the only iOS app I have that does this sort of this.

Darrin. Will this fix this bug permanently or do I have to leave all background Apps closed for it to work?  As I’m sure many do, I leave background apps running on my phone all the time. Thanks for any additional info. Sam

I don’t know. Either way, the current app is a pain in the...

I have to close all the app to make this one work.

Thanks for the information.  I guess we'll just have to put up with it until perhaps someday support will fix this very annoying issue.
