Hello,

I would like to know the extent of waterproofing on the first generation water/soil moisture sensors. Specifically:

1. Is the square top part of the unit water/splash-proof? The units I received appeared to have exposed circuitry on their backside.
2. If the square top part of the unit is submerged in water, can it function again after it has been dried off?
3. If I have this sensor outside and it is exposed to heavy rain, will it continue functioning after it has dried?

Thank you in advance for any comments or help on this.

The FAQ (http://store.wirelesstag.net/pages/support#waterproof) already have answers to your questions.
