it depends if the managers are grouped or separate but under the same account.

if grouped all the tags on all the managers are shown in the one list and the tags "drift" to the nearest manager.

If you have two manager and "not grouped" under the same account via the web interface or iphone there is a drop down and you can select either manager or "view all" and all tags are shown.

Hi Steve,

I am going to create custom application, which is used to display the asset current location.

For example:

Tag Manger 1 => Room 1
Tag Manger 2 => Room 2
Tag Manger 3 => Room 3

Tag A associated with all three  Tag Manager (1,2,3). So when Tag A moves from Room 1 to 2, I can figure out the Asset location  based on tag manger number.

So When ever I move the assets from Room 1, 2 or 3. Using tag manager I can locate the physical location.

Please let me know whether this is possible or not?

Hi Madheswaran,

I don't work for the company just a big user. I can tell you that to associated the tags with all the managers you would have to group them. when you group the tags managers there is no way to tell which tag is on which manager live. I'm sure support could change this if you asked them. I wanted my grouped managers to act like a wifi range extender. so if tag manager 1 went off-line or lost internet all the tag would roam over to Manager 2 on a 4g backup internet connection.  it does do this! so you can have a 2nd manager just plugged in as a failover or extend the range of the tags.

however that tags show on manager 2 and you cannot tell which tag is on which manager. as all manager shows all tags. it a little confusing. the ideal set up would be to group the manager and have one list with all your tags. and a indication what tag is on what manager. this would then help you with the 2nd part location tracking.

when I tried it tags roamed over to Manager 2 with less signal strength causing issues. and often I would get lost link and the red cross on the tag. but on the current manager the tags never fail and have full strength. the tag managers we next to each other. so there was no reason for this and I went back to ungrouped and just added tages on to the 2nd and 3rd Manager with the highest signal strength.

It would be great if support could look further in to this.
