Unable to link Wemo Switches

When I click the green button (Link Wemo Switches/Lights) I keep getting a message in a yellow box at the top that says "Still working to configure device(s) found ...". How long should this take? I've been waiting for more than 30 minutes. I have 3 smartplugs and 4 light switches. Am I missing something? Are the smartplugs considered also as switches?

Thanks, but I would like to figure ou first why I am unable to link my Wemo devices.

Well, it just occurred to me that maybe there was something corrupted with the wirelesstag app. So I went ahead and cleared its cache and restarted the app and that did the trick: I now see all my smartplugs and switches.
