I've noticed ever since some recent updates to the Wireless Tag iOS app, that my tags will randomly turn on the "Monitor Temperature" setting.  I notice this because tags I don't care to monitor will report that it is "Too Hot" or "Returned to Normal".  This is for tags that I've never turned temperature monitoring on for.  This only happens occasionally (maybe once a week it'll happen to a different tag).  Any idea why this would be happening?

I know this is an old post, but I have started having the same problem on a few of my pir tags. 4 different tags will randomly reset to the default temperature monitoring with notification even though I have those boxes un-checked in the settings. They restart temp monitoring on their own shortly after un-checking the box and saving the setting. Any fixes or explanations for this?

What do you mean the default temperature monitoring, is there a certain too hot/too cold temperature threshold they reset to, regardless of your previous setting?
When you turn off the monitoring, make sure you press "Save" button.
Please let me know by PM the ID of the 4 tags (click "share" button to reveal the ID of a tag in the URL to open graph).
