Support,
Can you provide more specific details on how and when the IFTTT trigger "Temperature returns to normal" fires?
The documentation on
ifttt.com says
"This trigger fires when a specified tag senses that its ambient temperature returns between the upper and lower thresholds configured at temperature options screen inside the wireless tag app." However, I am unable to get this to fire as consistently as the "Temperature is too high" trigger. The "too high" trigger fires immediately whether the temperature has naturally risen beyond the upper limit, or if I have adjusted the upper limit down and the current temperature is now above that limit.
The "Temperature returns to normal" doesn't seem to fire when I adjust the upper limit above the current temperature. I've found that eventually, if the temperature falls far enough below the upper limit, the event will trigger, but that might be an hour or so after the temp has entered the acceptable range.
Am I doing something wrong or is there a way to get the trigger to fire immediately as it does for the "too hot" trigger?
Thanks, Pete
