Request for Guidance on WiredTiger's Flow During MongoDB Operations

I am currently in the process of learning WiredTiger development and would like to deepen my understanding of how WiredTiger handles various MongoDB operations, such as inserts, reads, and others. Could you kindly point me to any comprehensive documentation or insightful blogs that explain the internal flow of WiredTiger during these operations?

The closest thing we have would probably the architecture guide: https://source.wiredtiger.com/develop/arch-index.html

Unfortunately this takes a more module-centric approach than the operation-centric approach you're after. To my knowledge we don't have any "vertical slice" documentation of the sort you're asking about.
