Found the RFI response link and submitted mine today.

Some of the unique facts about Alameda that I included were the facts
that
... there's an undercurrent of Comcast customers (who used to be APT
customers) that are dissatisfied with their service and would gladly
jump to a competing service.
... Alameda Point is undeveloped space that, given permits, should be
ideal for experimenting with broadband infrastructure and installation
techniques. Any ideas whether this is more or less feasible now that
Measure B has failed?
... home to a technologically-dense business park that would find ways
to utilize the service (and the Peet's coffee roastery to fuel its
workers).
... we're home to several Mythbusters experiments!

Who's got other great ideas? I'd be happy to help collaborate on the
proposal as it takes shape.

Anyone from Alameda Wireless on this list?

http://alamedawireless.org/

Alameda has one active community network group
already, so there might be good peering opportunities.

That's an excellent point. Can anyone reach out and invite them here?

I have posted to the alamedawireless list -- the
topic has already come up but they didn't have the
link to this group.
