I wanted to pass this along for whoever may be interested. It is an iPod Touch day-long training for teachers.

Hello,   Oregon City School District is bringing Kathy Shirley from Escondido SD in California up for a two day training on April 1st and 2nd.  Each day we can train up to 20 participants from 8am to 2:30pm with the day covering skills in the morning and guided workshop time in the afternoon.  Teachers should leave the training with skills they can put to use in the classroom immediately if they have access to an iPod touch.  The training is designed to last one day per attendee, so you don't need to come both days.   Due to our funding crisis we can only afford to bring this trainer up but do not have enough funds left to pay for our own teachers to have sub time to attend.  We'd like to open the training up to our neighbors so you can send teachers at $150 each which will help us to send our own teachers.  Hopefully this is a win-win scenario if you have any interest in iPod touches in your buildings.     I've attached a document describing this training along with some data proving its success in two districts.  If you are interested in sending someone please RSVP to me by March 15th at 5pm.  We'll accept up to 10 people per day of training.   You can RSVP here:  https://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?formkey=dGQyQ2d4YXo1NW1DUG5DZUVwXzVtaVE6MA   Best,   M     Hotmail: Trusted email with Microsoft’s powerful SPAM protection.
