When implementing WinSparkle, is it possible to only download the changed(delta) files from the server, or does it have to install the whole application? I understand that Sparkle for OSX has this feature, but I'm unclear as to whether WinSparkle can do the same.

Hi,

No, it doesn’t (see the code).

Your contributions to change that would be most welcome. You should be warned, though, that while the task is relatively simple for Sparkle, because things are distributed as bundles (i.e. a directory with files) on macOS, Windows is a mess and it’s not even clear how to do them universally. Supporting MSI update packages would probably be a good first step.

Regards,
Václav
