Beauty lies in the details. To convey everything about the characters without saying much in a limited amount of time, is one of the most important criteria of a Short Film. The Film begins with the couple getting married, without revealing their faces. How the importance of those 7 pheras comes back in the Climax is one thing, which is well thought of.

Later, we are shown that he is watching Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. The conversation is between Vanraj (Ajay Devgn) and Nandini (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan). The theme for both these films is the same. Although there it was Nandini, and here it is him. There Vanraj wanted to make his wife meet her ex (Sameer). Here, she is trying to understand how his ex looked like. These both could be Vanraj and Nandini too. These little things, make Ti an interesting watch.

The story of Ti is very universal and has been shown in movies, time and again, in one context or the other. What makes this one different is the treatment given to the story with wonderful dialogues and the chemistry between the leads. It is not an easy job to portray the chemistry in a short span of time. Aditya Joshi positions his movie in such a way that one portion has lengthy dialogues where as the other portion hardly has only dialogues. It is just the background music that we hear in the pre-climax scenes. He has managed to bring out the best of both the leads (Pranao Lepse and Priya Thavare) in both these portions.

Aditya Joshi, the captain of the ship and also the editor, paints a very moody picture in his story telling technique. He uses slow motion in many of the scenes and the brilliant background score brings out that mood strongly. Wonder if the movie would have had the same impact, if slow motion was used minimally.

Honestly speaking, I am a little depressed due to the ending, but also impressed at how engrossing this film was. Life Of Mumbai is a Marathi short film about a loving husband and his wife. The film speaks about the day to day life of a Mumbaikar and that they get so busy at times that they even forget about holidays.

Mayur and Vikram were also on the lookout for potential stories for short films. A mutual friend discussed the issue of sand mining in parts of Maharashtra, which in turn depletes groundwater resources for farmers.

Valu will be screened at the 26th Austin Film Festival on October 25 and October 30. The makers intend to submit the short film to a few other international film festivals before making it available through digital streaming platforms.

Taar ('Telegram') is a 2020 Indian Marathi-language drama short film written and directed by Pankaj Sonawane featuring Nagraj Manjule, Pooja Dolas, Bhushan Manjule.[2] It is produced by Illusion Ethereal Studios.[3] The film was digitally released on 7 November 2020 on YouTube.[4]

Taar is a story based on Telegram. The story is set during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. War has had serious effects on countries. Many soldiers have lost their lives protecting their country and loved ones. Before the introduction of technology, telegram was the only means of communication for these soldiers with their families. These telegrams conveyed many good and bad messages from soldiers to their families. Thus, Telegram tells the story of a postman who carries a bundle of such telegrams and delivers the messages of these soldiers to their families. But these messages also contain some bad news such as the deaths of soldiers who fought in wars like 1971.

The teaser of the film was released on 31 October 2020 by Riteish Deshmukh's production house Mumbai Film Company.[7][8] Deshmukh promoted the short film by sharing the teaser on his other social media handles.[9]

The film opens with a scene of Vitthal, a farmer working in his field. His young daughter assists him. The film uses natural and realistic imagery to bring out the reality of the everyday lives of Indian farmers as a universal subject. While they continue their day-to-day chores, the family soon realises that their bore-well has dried up. This will lead to no water left for the field. Eventually, The farmer witnesses the illegal mining of sand, which has caused the river of his area to dry up.

Worried about the outcome of sand mining and its consequences on his livelihood, Vitthal decides to report the crime to the district collector. However, the politics of sand mining have its roots spread everywhere. Upon receiving an unsatisfactory response from the officials, The Farmer decides to take control of the situation. This soon leads to a shocking end.

Shot in Solnapur, a village near Aurangabad, Maharashtra, known to be the hub of illegal river and sand mining, Mayur Dharod and Vikram Aggarwal mirror the water crisis in many regions of the country. Farmers are often viewed as easily susceptible to submission to various illegal activities imposed on them. The power equation and social structures repeatedly force them to be at the mercy of the higher officials, often involved in corrupt activities.

The usage of 2D animation added a layer of simplicity to the entire film. It ensured that the focus was not taken away from the issue which involved a rather verbally abusive household. And at the same time maintained the quality of the film. The 2D animation was further reminiscent of the old Disney movies and kids shows which makes it all the more relatable for the target audience, i.e., the kids. The film gives kids an outlet to the kids and helps them realise that they need not go through it all by themselves and that it is okay to ask for help and rather you should ask for help.

The Boy Who Slept in Class also highlights the importance of a vigilante adult when such issues surrounding kids arise. It makes us realise the important role we play in the lives of kids. The film urges to not only to be vigilant about such issues but also to raise our voices and awareness against such issues to ensure the safety of kids in the long run.

An Amole Gupte film, One Idiot is a short film for anyone who is adulting or is already an adult. The film circles around the life of an idiot. Or more like an assumed idiot for he is smarter than half the population of India. But from the looks and the way he carries himself the same is not conveyed. It is only when one takes a closer look at his life that people realise that they truly know nothing compared to him.

One Idiot is bound to shake you out of your delulu and make you look for an actual solulu for your financial worries. Financial literacy is still not that well understood by people outside of the realm of commerce the testimonials presented in the film are a testament to that. Given that the film is almost 11 years old you might think that people might have improved in terms of financial literacy, and hence Return of One Idiot was released to give us a check. Khatoon Ki Khidmat is a tale of a small village in rural India and the struggles of the people living there. These struggles may seem small and irrelevant to someone who grew up in the city. But for the people living in rural India, this is a harsh reality. Throughout the film, it carries a humorous tone to it but the hidden message of how a woman is made to adjust in almost every situation regardless of which part of India she belongs to, be it rural or urban is very visible.

The first short film in Marathi focuses on Arjun, a youth in his early 20s who returns home drunk every day and a surprise his mother has in store. This episode features Geetanjali Kulkarni and Shivraj Waichal.
