Hello,

The WinPython 2023-04 build2 is out for a release end november 2023

Goal of the cycle is to:

- backbone upgrades: Python-3.11.6, numpy-1.26 with Array API v2022.12 support

- torch-2.1

- Spyder-5.5 with jedi-0.19 support

- continue exploration on LargeLangageModel at local level

Change from WinPython 2023--03:

- Infrastructure:

- WinPython-64bit-3.12.0.1 published as b5 only, as ecosystem is not yet mature
- New Packages:
- numpy-1.26.2, pandas-2.1.3,

- anywidget-0.7.1
- Keras-3.0.0
- Upgraded Packages:
- nbdime-4.0.1
- panel-1.3.4, polars-0.19.18
- ipyleaflet-0.18.0, ipython-8.18.1, prompt_toolkit-3.0.41, tornado-6.4
- Removed Packages:
- Differences by version:
- WinPython-64bit-3.12.0.1b5 misses 20% of packages: Pytorch, Numba , ... (Numba and multidict have harder than expected issues with python-3.12)

Areas of particular interest for testers:

- no major issues in Winpython64-3.11.6.0rc

rc binaries for 3.11.6 will be re-tagged as final in a few days, if no major issue is discovered.
