Thanks to all who attended last weeks meetup. For those who missed it
or were out of town Orion gave a fantastic presentation on OOP in PHP
- and more specifically on what's new in PHP 5.3. Later tonight the
slides will be available at http://winnipegphp.com. The official
website is still a work in progress - although I am happy to report
that what you see so far is in fact a "website in an hour". There was
some lively discussion on some of the topics presented as well as some
live demos at the end to help resolve some disagreements and
ambiguities over scope and inheritance in PHP.
