They may give Backbone zones with different technology prefix. (Let say 01144 tech-prefix)
In that case you have to configure
Gatekeeper
Zone remote GK-UK cisco.com 172.22.4.4
Gw-type-prefix 01144 hopoff GK-UK
In this case, on your trouble shooting section you may mention:
I will use “debug ras” and if I find there is no LRQ send from my GK, then it indicates that hop-off prefix is not configured on my GK or the tech-prefix send by my gW to my GK is different from the hop-off tech-prefix.
If I get a LRJ message from BB-GK then that indicates we have sent a wrong tech-prefix to BB-GK.
If I get LCF from the BB-GK, but the DRQ is coming from my GW. Then it indicates that my BB-GK could not solve the zone prefix what I have sent. We have to check zone prefix sennd by my GW. For this I can use “debug gatekeeper main 5” . This will give me the clue what is exctly send by my GW to My GK.
There might be another reason why I may get LRJ message from BB-GK. This may be due to bandwidth restrictions. I can use “debug h225 asn1” to check what bandwidth request is made.
