I just got started with WinMorph. To do a morph, the stages in the
tutorial seem to be: (1) draw a "protective rectangle" around the
first image; (2) draw guidelines or "shapes" on that first image; (3)
draw guidelines on the second image; (4) associate the first with the
second set of guidelines. As illustrated in the tutorial, the
guidelines on the first image are drawn separately and independently
from those on the second image, which they would have to be to be
useful. However, regardless that I draw a "protective rectangle" over
the first image, whatever I draw on the first image is also drawn on
the second image and vice versa. I can't create two separate,
independent sets of guidelines. The tutorial seems totally simple,
but I can't get it to work. Any advice?

You draw the line on the left image, which makes the same thing appear
on the right image. Then you highlight the new line that appears in
the right image, click the button to adjust it, and then move the line
around using the boxes, until you get it where you need it. Then
highlight the left image again, and click to associate. Always
associate left to right, as you're morphing from the left image to the
right image.

Hope that helps.
