adding friends not working?

I was wondering if there was something broken about adding friends. A
friend and I have tried multiple times adding eachother, and it never
seems to take.

If I follow the link in the email invitation I get a invalid URL
error.
error.
And in my inbox there are invitations (multiple) if I click the accept
link in the inbox the messages just fade away.
Thanks for helping out, all my friend invitations (2 so far) have
failed.
