there are 14 files in the folder you downloaded, place all the files from the ZIP into FSX/P3D SimObjectsAirplanes directory then search pack 1 go into it and take sounds effects and gauges, then go back to the main p3d folder, search for sounds gauges and effect place all of these 3 folders in the correct folder, so effect into effects, sounds into sounds, ......, after that go back to FSX/P3D SimObjectsAirplanes directory. then delete the Singapore and another one basically all the a380s where FSX is in the name and then most important, go into the folder of the plane/liv you wanna download go into it and take the main folder in the folder.

Stalls in turns and doesn't have a 380 cockpit and the FMC does not seem to do anything. The trim is horrible. Not having an a380 cockpit is like a man with a bra on. Sure it's a real bra but what is he doing with it on?

It's very good and fun to fly! The sounds are beautiful and the virtual flight deck blew me away. The pack has a few airlines, but overall, it's great to have! The aircraft looks very good and is pretty easy to handle.

File Description:
Inside the package, there are new cockpit textures (day and night) for the Airbus A380 PA Gauges (Project Airbus). Also the autopilot's and FMC's MCP color, digits and textures were edited again.

File Description:
FS2004/FSX Etihad Airways Fictional 'NC' A320-232 livery for the Project Airbus A320 (A6-EIA). Etihad Airways Fictional 'NC' livery painted on Project Airbus's Airbus A320 aircraft (model included) Designed in conjunction with the Etihad A380 tail which was seen at Toulouse last month. The textures are saved in 32bit format for quality graphics. Its features are Opening doors & Cargo doors, detailed textures, accurate paint, dynamic shine & effects, dynamic flexing wings that respond to turbulence, fully independent suspension, trim animation, gear steering, accurate flight dynamics, spoiler animation, crash effects, reflective cockpit windows, transparent navigation light lenses and many more. A couple of years ago, I engaged in the elusive search for an a380 that was not total rubbish. The one that came closest was the Overland (Simmers Sky) a380. This is part of their Fly Into the Sky - Airbus edition.

Project Airbus has a nice freeware model. Problem is, its VC is for FS9 -- unless it has been updated since I last looked. However several industrious simmers have kit-bashed a340 cockpits into it, usually the ones from Thomas Ruth or Wilco. And there is a freeware FMS which can be used for it. In fact, I found one of those kit bashed versions which had a lot of liveries; but I forget where. I probably have it buried on my hard drive somewhere.

Edit: I just ran across another model. It had a Quantas livery and was by Robert Versluys. It is freeware, and can be found at -qantas-airbus-a380-800/ A big downside is, it has no virtual cockpit. So you will be forced to kit bash something else in or just use a 2d panel. I don't know if other liveries are available. How do you feel about Sydney?

Project Airbus A380 itself is the only a380 which works in all versions of P3D. These mods will further enhance the realism while flying the a380. I've worked on majority of these mods alone over the span of 4-6 years.

The media has termed the A380 a "superjumbo", with some comparing it to Howard Hughes's Spruce Goose. The first A380 prototype was unveiled during a ceremony in Toulouse, France, on January 18, 2005. Its manufacturer's serial number is 001, and is registered as F-WWOW. The new Airbus will initially be sold in two versions: the A380-800, carrying 555 passengers in a three-class configuration or up to 800 passengers in a single-class economy configuration. Expected range for the -800 model is 8,000 nautical miles (14,800 km). The second model, the A380-800F dedicated freighter, will carry 150 tons of cargo 5,600 miles (10,400 km). Airbus made the cockpit layout, procedures and handling characteristics similar to those of other Airbus aircraft to reduce crew training costs. Likewise, the A380 features a glass cockpit and side-stick flight controller.

Pilots will be immersed in a simulated virtual cockpit where they can practise their procedures together until perfection. They could do so alone, or as a crew; sharing the same physical room, or remotely together online. Similarly, they could train with or without a human instructor guiding their lesson.

The virtual package consists of a PC, a VR headset, and a pair of hand controllers.

So far, almost 100 customers have savored the thrill of a virtual takeoff and landing at an airport of their choosing. A session last week featured Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, though the pilots say the most popular choice has been Tokyo.

We worked with iniSimulations back in February to bring you exclusive information of a brand new A380 in development for X-Plane 11. The simulation of the aircraft is being worked on by a relatively new team, but have shared that they have a lot of features being worked on. You can see below that progress has been made. In particular, the team has decided to share some work-in-progress texture work of various parts of the virtual cockpit.

Fitted with a glass cockpit, information management system and advanced, multi-mode phased array radar, the Su-27 Flanker derivative is being readied for both the Russian air force and the export market. Addressing a Farnborough Airshow press briefing July 14, Mikhail A. Pogosyan, Sukhoi Holding director general, said Sukhoi sees a potential world market for 200 Su-35s. Candidate countries are seen in South America, southeast Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

Cobham plc, the parent company of Chelton Flight Systems, in November 2007 reached agreement to acquire S-TEC Corp., from Meggitt plc for $38 million. Cobham said the subsequent merger of Chelton and S-TEC was part of its drive "to develop a fully integrated cockpit."

Embedded software provider SYSGO said its PikeOS virtualization platform was selected to support the ARINC 653 test application ported on AIDA, the new platform defined by the European DIANA project. The test application is a Flight Management System.

The purpose is to define an advanced platform, called AIDA (Architecture for Independent Distributed Avionics), supporting execution of object-oriented applications over virtual machines and secure distribution services. Main parts of the application will be hosted on a PC running PikeOS. Smaller test applications such as redundant components and sensors will be hosted using light-weight simulators on other PCs, SYSGO said.
