Fellow Wink Enthusiasts:
Using wink 3.0 - So far so good.
I have an Issue editing blocks of text.
Do not remember how good or bad this was with the previous version (and it will no longer run for me.) If I double click on a text area, I can edit it (though for some reason the font looks larger.) But, when I am done editing. the text area has changed size and changed location (if it now bumps in to the margin). Then I have to spend the time resizing and repositioning. I should not have to reposition and I should only have to resize if I no longer like how the text fits.
Also, when resizing a text area it can be quite jumpy. It would be nice if there were a little hysteresis (perhaps).
Running on Windows 10. Wink Version 3.01
Thanks.

This is complicated by all text appearing 20% (or so) smaller than years ago with the previous version of wink. Now I have to edit every text area and increase (restore) the size of the text AND THEN restore the size of the text area after it jumps on completion of the edit.
Bruce:
Ok.
Experimented with all of those settings.|
None
of them made it any better. Some
of them made it a lot worse.
It
appears as if a smaller font (by that 20% or so) is now being used than when I
first designed the presentation.
It
could also be a different implementation of the same font and the
interpretation of the font metrics has changed.
(Wrong
then or wrong now, but different in the end.)
I
have over 90 frames. Each with 2 or 3 text regions. That is a lot to fix.
If
the text region size did not change/reset in Wink when I edited the font size, that
would help a lot.
Satish,
is that a bug? I can’t imagine that it is an intended behavior. Do you see what
I see?
Thanks.
