I'm using wink since a few years already.
Recently I upgraded from windows xp to windows 7 and I notice that the rendering is creating a very very slow swf file.
I set 8 frames/sec when recording and 20 when rendering.
Please have a look at: http://lnx.sinapsi.org/public/espressione1.swf
and help me in speed up the show!
Maybe the file is too big? Should I change any setting or simply reduce the number of frames?
Anyhow many many thanks for creating Wink!
Best wishes.

Since no answer is coming to my question, I try to answer myself.
I discovered that some frames are without the cursor (the movie has been recorded using a wacom tablet).
I manually removed all the frames without cursor and the result is quite satisfying:
http://lnx.sinapsi.org/public/espressione20130112.swf

So now I'd like to understand why some frames are without cursor?
How could I improve my recording when using a tablet?

Thanks.

Again I'm here to write to myself.

I discovered that all the problem was NOT in wink (very great piece of software) BUT in Windows Journal !
I used Wink writing with Windows Office 2010 and voilà the rendering is perfect!
please have a look yourself:  http://lnx.sinapsi.org/public/test.htm

best wishes.

I noticed if at any point my pointer is set to invisible, it would slow down my video. its better to change the cursor to a 10x10 gif blank/transparent image.  I dont know if this will help but thats all I got, sorry.

U do not have to remove the table. Just enable the cursor option to the right.

Hi Dan,

I hope you have found an answer to your question. :)

I like your video. Could you please let me know which tool you use to have such pen effect? Do you use a pen tablet?

Many thanks in advance!

Kind regards,
Ym

Hi ym,
yes indeed I wrote that the problem was not Wink but the Microsoft app Windows Journal.
When I record somwthing using Windows Office Word 2010 the playback is quite good.

Yes I record my writings using Wacom Fun Pen Tablet, I suggest it for recording tutorials.

Best wishes.
