I've been scaling the models up in maya but I've come across a
problem.

Because of the size of the muse the level assets become so huge in
maya they are impossible to work with. I would like to suggest that
the artists resize the assets in Unity3D (just to clarify that the
programmers won't do this) and that we note in or dev diaries that
scale of original maya models would be something we take more into
consideration in the future.

Mike/Corrado is this ok?

I can understand what you mean Pete. I wish I knew a way to turn the
draw distance up in Maya.

Erm...I guess we could scale up in Unity but I am not sure of any side
effects. I guess because its not a character it should be fine. Just
make sure we dont make anything a collidable object until its the
right size or we could muck up the collision boxes of things.

Can a programmer give us some advice on this please?

I'm not sure what to do with the Cardinals as they need to be rigged.
Maybe download the muse model and scale them next to that so that
their the right size compared to the muse. Then we can work the level
assets around that.

And yea Scott thats basically it, the assets get so big the draw
distance messes up even in the 2D views. I didn't want to involve the
programmers too much with this because it's our thing to do and I
don't want to distract them from what they have on their hands
allready. Maybe we can do a few quick tests?
