Title:  Network Tower Manager

Duration:  6+ months

Location: Melville, NY

 

Tower Manager - Networks Data and Security.
Manage and guide the team, interface with Customer, Escalation management
• Work with Customer and team on optimization of wan and lan links
• SPOC for all Network Data and Security related queries
• Lead and manage technical solutions
• Communication with Key technical stake holders
• Ensure active participation in value add and conduct various sessions to get the best from the team.
• Understand and evaluate current processes and come up with better technical processes.
• Understand the key challenges and help the team work on them technically

• Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written)
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
• Good documentation skills
• Good working knowledge of MS OFFICE (Including MS Project and Visio)
• Should have a great customer handling skills
• Able to handle unforeseen situations
• High level of acceptance
• Can drive HCL’s value and its methodology
• Based on project allocated, must be ready to work in 24* 7 environment

Technical Skills:
• Should have experience in Nexus platform like 7K, 5K and 2k.
• Experience in VPC, VPC+, Dual VPC.
• Experience on FEX integration, FEX registration, FEX configuration.
• Experience of fabric path, ISIS protocol, Multi-domain trees.
• Experience of Multicast security, Multicast over L-2 network, Multicast over L-3 network.
• Experience of STP and all other L-2 protocol like RSTP, RPVST+, root guard, BPDU filter, BPDU guard so on.
• Experience on Server load balancer of F5 / Citrix / Cisco. And DNS based load balancing.
• Network Security.[ASA firewall]
• Good understanding on OSPF, BGP and IP access-list.
• Excellent network troubleshooting skills. Must be able to quickly identify and resolve network related issues in smallest possible time.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Should be CCNP Certified. Preference will be given to CCIE
