If you are really not able to find the preset "slow", try downloading
the lates presets file from our download section [1], import it into
Winff and try again. We replaced the calls to FFMPEG presets by the
proper settings.

I am not sure if we are misunderstanding each other, but I clearly say
that your ffmpeg needs to enable libx264 internally for it to work. I
don't see it in the configuration options that are displayed in your
earlier e-mail so I still don't think you compiled ffmpeg correctly for
libx264. Winff is just using ffmpeg, so that needs to be fixed. Having
libx264 enabled on your system is just not enough for ffmpeg. Please
have a look a the ubuntu forums:
