Hi all

Is it possible to use transcode from image sequences to .mov files
using WinFF? I would ideally like to be able to do a batch convert of
different folders.

I will be going from PNG to DNxHD with an alpha channel.

Thanks
Mark

if you can figure out how to do it via command line, perhaps we could accomodate you.

Unfortunately, I am not a ffmpeg guru, just a dumb programmer!

It is totally possible to do this from the command line; I've been
waiting for it to be implemented in WinFF. Unfortunately, from what
I've experienced in the past, ffmpeg only exports to rgb24 mov, not
rgb32 mov. I had to use blender to export to rgb32 mov.

Hi Jonathan.

Share your method for doing it via ffmpeg and if its not too much of a stretch, we can incorporate it in WinFF's GUI.

Please describe it in as much detail as you can at the issues page.

Thanks,
Ian

I'm not feeling particularly motivated to do that as I'm rather busy
right now, but here's a link to the page in an FFMPEG guide that
explains it in detail if anyone else wants to file an issue.

It would appear that FFMPEG doesn't support the codec that I want,
which is DNxHD with an Alpha. It supports other codecs, just not my
one :(
