Proposed By-Laws of the WTFs (Wine Tasting Fools)

1. Hosting 

a. The Host of the evening will decide how many folks he can have for the tasting.
b. Host will decide tasting format.
c.  The optimal size for a tasting is eight (7 plus host).
d. The most recent members to the WTF can attend a tasting if the tasting has not reached the optimal size of 8 or at the invitation of the host.
e. New WTF members joining the group will pay one-time $25 for additional/replacement glassware. 

2. Hosting schedule

a. Tasting year starts in September and ends in June. 
b. Tastings are held on the 3rd Thursday in the month, unless there is a mutual agreement of 8 members to hold it on another Thursday within the month.
c. Hosts may swap his hosting  month with another member if he is unable to host during his appointed month and he can find someone to swap with. 
d. May and June 2015 are currently open (ie. no Host identified)

3. Attendee Requirements

a. Anyone that attends 5 or more tastings during the year is required to host a tasting during the cycle.  If the person does not host during the cycle, he will be asked to leave the group.
b. Anyone attending fewer than five tastings during the cycle will be considered a recent member (in the following year) and future attendance to tastings will be subject to by-law 1d.
