Atthe time of sale by Libbey Glass LLC to our customer, our products meet all current applicable Federal and State standards, as applicable, including but not necessarily limited to, all applicable FDA Lead and Cadmium guidelines and California Proposition 65. Any decoration, alteration or modification by any 3rd party or customer may void this compliance statement.

Your bakeware is safe to use in a microwave, but do not use in a microwave oven with a browner, to hold or support popcorn bags, or to heat food in browning wrappers. Popcorn bags and browning wrappers can concentrate heat in certain areas which could damage your bakeware. Also, avoid putting empty or nearly empty bakeware in the microwave as this can also concentrate the heat in one area. Be careful not to overheat, especially if melting butter, as this can cause hotspots that can damage your bake dish.

Libbey bakeware plastic lids are BPA free. They can not be used in a conventional or convection oven or they will melt. Plastic lids can be used when reheating food in the microwave but take care to leave the lid slightly open to avoid the build-up of steam which could potentially cause burns or damage the lid.

Clean carefully to avoid scratching. Scratched and cracked ware may break more easily and should be discarded. Wash bakeware in mild detergent and water, using non-scratch nylon or plastic pads to remove baked-on foods. Do not use harsh abrasives. For foods that are hard to remove, soak bakeware in warm water; foods will be easily removed with minimum scrubbing.

PVD coatings may fingerprint so we suggest handling the product with clean gloves or cloths to guard against stains fingerprints. Fingerprints can be removed by washing product with a mild soap and water solution, then dried.

If a softer metal such as a ring or key marks the surface, it is possible some of this metal may have been left on the PVD coated surface. In this case use a soft cloth and mild, non-acidic cleaner to remove the soft metal deposit.

Proper care and handling of your new Libbey glassware will keep it looking beautiful for many celebrations to come. Watch the videos below for step-by-step instructions on washing and drying your purchase.

All Libbey glass cookware products contain small amounts of added elements or compounds of Selenium and Cobalt. These are required additives, only a few parts per million, to ensure Libbey glass products maintain consistent color and clarity. As glass ingredients are melted together, they create a new material that does not separate into the original ingredients. Libbey has conducted leach tests on its glassware products and find no measurable amounts of either element migrating from the glassware.

Libbey wood products are naturally occurring woods, which are stained with products that meet food safety requirements once the stain is dry. The potentially added chemicals are Toluene, Isobutanol, Ethyl Acetate and 2-butoxyethanol (Anti-Whitewater).
