September Wine Club

Please hold the date of September 27 for the next Utterly
Unpretentious Wine Club meeting. We are currently exploring the Finger
Lakes field trip option, but as Mike warned last month, it looks like
its a serious drive (meaning 4 hours minimum each way) and we need to
have a group of people committed to going for this to be viable (10
minimum).
If people are still interested in the upstate trip, please speak up
now (before Friday) or forever hold your peace! If we don't get the
requisite 10, we will plan an alternative filed trip option that is
within the hour-or-so radius (some of the options brought up last
month include a wine bar/tasting event). Or, we can have a good old
fashioned wine club meeting at me and syd's and celebrate our two year
UUWASC anniversary.
I appreciate if everyone and anyone who is free on the 27th and
interested in doing wine club in some form to email me at
eren...@gmail.com with your preferred activity:
1) I like cars and I'm available September 27! let's hit the road!
2) Local Outing
3) Drunken celebration at Syd and Eren's

Thank you for the keeping the group focused and attentive.
My vote: Option 3; but would be willing to do Option 2 as I know hosting can involve a decent, tedious level of organization.

I have a car but it's a hooptie so I'm weary of taking it on a journey to the Finger Lakes. Soooo, I prefer option 3 because Syd and Eren's place is niiiiiiiiiice and they're great host.
