It's the place where pretty much every adjustment I use on pictures is situated, including saturation, vibrance, dehaze highlights etc etc. At the moment, without the basic tab, I have to keep opening different tabe separately, which is making workflow when dealing with multiple pictures a bit of a pain.

These changes aren't welcome. The man who originally designed the panels was thinking with his brain. Now somebody come and messed up the things just for the sake of change. All those controls in the Basic panel has to be used at the same time. No the multiple open panel mode is not an option, the original idea was to keep open one single panel, not to scroll endlessly up and down just to change something!

What is the step-by-step procedure to combine/reduce the number of editing panels in Adobe Camera Raw version 16.0? The version 16.0 update resulted in scrambling of the panels and as such more panels really messed up an efficient workflow. It takes longer to have to open more panels to find the exact same function as before.

There isn't a step by step procedure. To begin, right click on any panel and study the available options in the menu offerred. Try out the options for yourself to see if that helps you. They are largely self explanatory.

Where is the Edit Panels to Show option in Adobe Camera Raw version 16.0? Can you provide a picture? I don't find anything on ACR with that title. What I mean by unscrambling is what others have posted, and you have posted responses, about the ACR version 16.0 have 11 headings in its editing panels. 1. I want to move all the functions of "Light" to the "Effects" panel. 2. Then, I want to delete the empty "Light" panel. 3. That places color temperture adjustment on top which is where I prefer to start. Here is the question a second time - What is the step-by-step procedure to combine/reduce the number of editing panels in Adobe Camera Raw version 16.0? Attached, fro a second time, is a picture to show what I mean by editing panels.

What you are asking for is not currently possible. Yes, the panels and their contents have been changed but they are now as they are and we are stuck with them - at least with this release of Camera Raw.

Yes, I have the same problem. I have specific steps in my workflow that were very simple in the "Basic" panel. With 16.0, I need to jump back & forth between panels to retain the same sequence of steps. I decided to re-install 14.5 to retain the Basic panel and not disrupt the workflow I've used for years.

Since Camera Raw 16 now has more panels, you can no longer use CTRL+7 to open the Geometry panel. Since Geometry is the 10th panel, there is no longer a keystroke combination to apply. Is there a workaround or other keyboard combo that can be used to open panels past #9 (for Geometry and Calibration panels)?

I don't understand the decision to separate Light, Color, and Effects in the new Camera Raw. 90% of the time I adjust all of these on every photo, so now you've just added a minimum of three extra clicks for me to make adjustments. At the very least, give the option to keep them all open at the same time or revert back to the previous way it was set up. If there's a way to do this, I'm all ears, because it's very annoying to have to click through each one on every photo I adjust.

I want to disable basic authentication and ran across this thread: How to make CQ5 working with enabled basic http authentication dispatcher . I didn't get any hits, maybe because the thread was so old, so I'll post here as a new topic.

I know this will break replication, but I'm just curious on how to do it. It appears that I can set HTTP Basic Authentication on :4502/system/console/configMgr/org.apache.sling.engine.impl.auth.SlingAuth enticator to Disabled, but that doesn't seem to work on several AEM 6.2 instances I have tested on. Replication is still working and I can pass the basic authentication headers to the admin UI and it logs me in.

Hm, I would not do it. You should do security testing against a hardened publish instance (with dispatcher in front of it), following the AEM security checklist (see [1]). That's the typical threat scenario.

Instead of disabling basic auth on publish, just don't include Authorization header in the /clientheaders config of the dispatcher configuration. That effectively prevents basic auth from the outside world.

Repetition is an important design basic because it helps strengthen the overall look of the design. It also ties together different elements to help them remain organized and more consistent. Consistency and repetition is especially important in branding because you want your particular look to be instantly recognizable.

Has anyone had this issue. I'm wfh on my iMac, logged into my office Windows PC vis LMI. A lot of the basic functions specifically in Photoshop don't work. For example, my cursor stays as the move tool no matter what tool I'm selecting, the short cuts to change tools aren't working, zoom isn't working. All these issues are fine when working on the PC in person, and also when working on adobe software directly on the iMac. Any ideas or tips?

I have some experience with Flash/Gimp/Photoshop, but now I have to edit an FXG file (an asset for a Flex app) in Adobe Illustrator and can't do even the two basic things, shown in the screenshot below:

but I can't even select the clubs symbol or the indices! Whenever I click and drag - I select and move everything. Do I need to break apart like in Flash editor? Can't find it in the Adobe Illustrator menu.

Illustrator layers don't work like Photoshop layers. Selecting and highlighting layers in Illustrator lets you move, copy, or delete the actual layer in the Layers Panel. It does not select the objects on any particular layer.

In this session, we will focus basic Adobe Sign functionality for senders.
