Construction Experience

Hello Everyone,

This house being constructed is a weekend retreat that I'm making. Its in phase 2, plot I-11 .

My builder fell sick so had to pause the work for a while.

For people who are interested,

The township does have water being supplied to all plots. There is also Electricity, I'm not sure how regular it is as of now.

There is a Gram Panchayat office nearby where you can get construction clearances, aside from paying the property tax.

Currently one needs to go 1 km out to the village for anything; including tea.

 

My builder has been having a lot of problems with keeping the workers there since even for tea they need to travel over there.

 

From a security perspective I think there are several issues that need to be resolved, so People looking to move in over there need to do a bit of research.

Hi Sbali,

  In Jadegenahalli (nearby village) there is a small shop that sells snacks, biscuits and tea. This is opp to the old panchayat office. The family running it seemed quite nice, we had stopped by last year. Guess you could check on the possibility of having a tie up with them to deliver tea/snacks twice a day with a delivery charge.

Thanks Vibes, seems like the contractor is running into further problems with getting workers there; & its not just tea that is proving to be the problem. I'll let you know how it goes.

   How are you doing? Hope your construction is going on well. Any new development in the Township? Could you please help post some snaps of the latest activity? We are planning to visit the site by this month end as we have to pay the property tax for this year.

Hello Vibes,

We're doing well thank you, Here's wishing a belated happy Holi to you.

Our construction has not gone according to plan, Seems after the sand strike, our contractor has run into labour issues again. So trying to figure out a way forward.

Other than that as of right now there are no new delelopments as such. There are several new townships in the area.
