Windsor Township : Summary of Meeting held on 25 Feb'17 with Builder

Here's a quick summary of the meeting.

1. Mr. Srinivas Rao (Builder) - highlighted that he has not received responses from anyone related to Maintenance amount. He had sent letters last year but response was extremely poor. Thus, he does not have money to maintain the township.
2. Mr. Srinivas Rao (Builder) also mentioned that he had been maintaining the plot for last 17 years but now he has other priorities and thus DO NOT WANT TO CONTINUE MAINTAINING the township. He expects owners to form RWA and run the maintenance.
3. All Owners mentioned that it would be extremely difficult for them to manage since they are not aware of all the owner. To this builder response was that it is not his problem.
4. Mr. Srinivas Rao had given 3 months time for owners to form RWA and take ownership
5. Mr. Srinivas Rao also mentioned that 3 Borewells have dried, the water is being supplied from another borewell outside of township. He is getting the borewells checked and will let us know the status.
   
6. Mr. Srinivas Rao also mentioned that electricity had been cut by KEB due to trees touching the tension wires and he is going to fix that as well.
7. Mr. Srinivas Rao also mentioned that wire fencing on the sides touching the agricultural land had been removed by someone and he had got it fixed already.
8. Mr. Srinivas Rao also mentioned an incident where in 2014, 20 GUNDAS had removed all boundaries and setup their own boundaries in the township and he got it removed. Brought another 20 GUNDAS to stay in the township for 1 week to ensure it does not get repeated. He also mentioned that an FIR was lodged against him for this since as per law he should not have removed the barricade setup by others.
9. It was also highlighted that township also visits a lot of cars coming in and people stopping by to have "BEERS" in the township. Throwing bottles wherever they like in the absence of Security.
   
10. The Meeting was attended by 50+ people.
    
11. Towards the end of the meeting, 11 members nominated themselves and a CORE Team was formed.
12. Builder promised to send details of all Owners by 26 Feb (whatever he has)
13. It was also highlighted that "Collection of Funds" from all owners will be the biggest challenge and unless everyone shows interest - it will be extreme difficult to "PROTECT" the land from POSSIBLE ENCROACHMENT (apparently extremely common in that area) - leave alone maintaining the Green cover and other facilities.
14. It was also agreed that whatever decisions the Core Group will take will be supported by all the Owners.

NEXT STEPS

1. Core Group to held meetings with Builders to chalk out the handover plan.
2. Another meeting with all OWNERS will be held on 19th March where the Core group will provide the progress update and seek support from others if required.
