Seed starting workshop

I attended the workshop and would like more details about the location of the free worm castings that was brought up. There is a business on South Cameron that sells bait and they pretty much give it away, from what I recall.

I was also wondering how old is too old as far as seeds go. At what point should I not bother using them and just toss them.
