Senior Business Analyst - TAX Admin
LOCATION:   New York City, NY, United States
DURATION:         6 months

 
Key Responsibilities:
•        Support tax users in the processes involving Corp tax and in-house applications during the preparation of international, federal and  state tax returns 
•        Support tax users during Tax Provision processes performed via Corptax and other in-house applications 
•        Ensure on going IT support activities related to Corptax and in-house applications are performed in a timely matter 
•        Advise management regarding effects of IT or Tax Support activities that may impact any of the Tax Provision or Tax Compliance deadlines 
•        Ensure that tax users comply with IT, Tax and SOX procedures  
•        Develop programs according to business requirements and document business and technical requirements for supported systems. 
•        Quickly understand the business issues. 
•        Work with client team to identify process and data gaps. 
•        Review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes to recommend solutions. 
•        Develop functional and system design specifications to implement proposed solution. 
•        Ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner. 
•        Communicate needed changes to development team. 
•        Lead system and integration testing efforts. 
•        Develop test plans, test cases and provide support to clients during user acceptance testing. 
•        Ensure issues encountered during testing are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner. 
•        Collaborate with vendors, internal Tax customers, Architecture Infrastructure, Engineering, DBAs and other groups to address product scalability, usability, reliability, functionality and performance related issues. 
•        Create and maintain project documentation; coordinate Change Control process 
Education, Certifications and Licenses:
•        BA/BS degree in a related field from an accredited institution required.
