Hello Wind River!
I have some great news!  We just got word that repairs on the Cross Timbers gate will start tomorrow.
I know there are many questions as to "why this is taking so long?"  This, as you may have guessed has been quite the task.  To avoid any further damage or injury we needed to immediately take down the structure.  Then it was determined we could not salvage the original gate, and a total replacement was needed. From there, the process moved to all of the insurance companies involved, which required estimates, approval and legwork.  Now we're working with the contractors, to get things ordered and the repairs underway.  Collins & Associates has been instrumental in moving this process along as fast as possible.  We know the barricades are not ideal, but we ask that you keep them in place until the gate is finished.  They are there to avoid any further damage, and allow for contractors to safely work.  The barriers are also there to help prevent traffic from going "in" the "out" gate and to avoid any mishaps or accidents.  We thank you so much for understanding, and as we complete this massive repair it might be a good idea to remind visitors (i.e. exterminators, lawn crews, guests) about how to properly use the gates. It is tempting to try to beat the gate or go "in" the "out" gate, but as we've now seen sometimes that doesn't work out too well.
