It is so sad that I have to send a report like this. It appears the holiday season has brought in burglars once again to Wind River. This time it seems they're getting a little more active. The HOA has had a few reports already of burglaries, but the most recent one (and the reason I'm sending this important note) was today and it was a break and entry burglary. A neighbor of ours left at approximately 10a this morning and arrived about twenty minutes later to find that people had been in her house and stolen several items. At this time there is a police report and a witness who spotted an 80's model blue van/truck with a camper on top. We're not sure if this is the suspect or a curious situation. If you have any information please contact the board via google groups or Tulsa Police. We also send this note out to serve as a reminder that locking doors, setting alarms and being on watch is always a good priority, especially during the holiday season. The HOA is currentley looking into cameras to put in and around the neighborhood to not only deter crime but also help with the vandalism problems that have been reported. It is a shame that we have to do this, but we feel letting you know is the first priority. Thank you so much, and please feel free to comment in you have anything that may be helpful.
