Hello everyone,
There have been a few more questions about the street project that is set to start on Monday.  This is for all gates areas except Scissortail.

Please read over, and thank you so much for your help in making this go as smoothly as possible.  It is an inconvenience but after this we hope to not have to worry about it for years.  :)  Have a good day.

By the way, the gate at Oswego (entering Cross Timbers) and the baby gate at the pool are also be fixed.  (Hopefully today)  We noticed once again they're not working correctly.

Thanks again,

Re:                  GATED SECTIONS STREET SEALING PROJECT

PLEASE ADD THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION TO THE MAILING YOU RECEIVED LAST WEEK WITH THE COLOR CODED MAP

·         Day Count:  The day listing does not include Saturdays and Sundays, therefore, days 1-5 and 6-10 are Monday through Friday.

·         Please switch day two with day three.  Therefore, day two will be light green (S. Quebec, etc. in Cross Timber) and day three will be light blue (S. Oswego in Cross Timber).

·         Trash Pick Up:  The sections scheduled for Mondays (Yellow - Sequoyah Hill) and (Pea Green – E. 118th Street and into Tall Grass) stand a chance of being missed for their trash pick-up.   We are hoping that the trash trucks come before 8:00 p.m. so that you will not be missed.  However, if they come after the streets are blocked, the trucks will be unable to serve your area.  We suggest that you go ahead and get your trash cans set out just in case they come in time before the blocking of the street.  The recycle trucks usually come later, so you will probably be missed for that round. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, but it is unavoidable.

·         Mail Service:  Mail service will continue when the streets are blocked off if it is safe for the carrier to walk the mail on the sidewalks.  If they cannot, the mail for that day will be delivered the next day.

·         Why Not One Side at a Time:  Some have asked why we can’t do one side at a time to alleviate some of these issues.  The reason is cost.  It would double the trips the asphalt trucks have to make and possibly double our $43,000 cost.   We apologize for the inconvenience, however, your neighborhood will only be affected for one day.   You won’t have to put up with it again for many years.

·         Sprinklers:  Again, do not forget to turn off your sprinklers the day BEFORE your scheduled day.  Leave them off until your street in completed.

Day One          Monday, 9-9, Yellow, Sequoyah Hill

Day Two          Tuesday, 9-10, Lt. Green, S. Quebec, etc. in Cross Timber

Day Three        Wednesday, 9-11, Lt. Blue, S. Oswego in Cross Timber

Day Four         Thursday, 9-12, Red, E. 116th/Richmond in Cross Timber

Day Five          Friday, 9-13, Orange, S. Richmond in Cross Timber

Day Six            Monday, 9-16, Pea Green, E. 118th Street and into Tall Grass

Day Seven       Tuesday, 9-17, Pink, E. 117th, etc. in Tall Grass

Day Eight         Wednesday, 9-18, Purple/Red, Clubhouse Parking lot & South part of Tall Grass

Day Nine         Thursday, 9-19, Dark Orange, South part of White Oak

Day Ten           Friday, 9-20, Dark Green, North part of White Oak
