Hello everyone!

Affordable Asphalt will be doing the very important task of street sealing on some of our gated areas, starting September 9th.  This is very important in order to maintain our private streets, but yes agreed it will be a lot of effort for us residents.  Thank you so much in advance for understanding, but if this is not done now we could face costly repairs in the near future.  Since the gated areas are private, the City of Tulsa doesn't help maintain the roads.  Again thank you for your cooperation and helping to make sure this goes as smoothly as possible.  ((The club house parking lot will be available for parking if needed, as well as parking along side the public (non-gated) streets.  Thank you as well to residents who may see extra cars parked near your homes, your understanding is greatly appreciated for sure.))

See the schedule and note below from Affordable Asphalt as to the schedule and what WR Residents need to know about this project.  It is very important that you mark your calendar of this project to make sure you can leave your home and that your sprinklers are turned off the day before you are scheduled.  (I hope they stay on schedule, but you may consider turning the sprinklers off and preparing the location of your vehicle for a few days in and around the projected date of your area)

You may notice Scissor Tail is not included in this project at this time.  The HOA is allowing the numerous construction projects going on right now in that community of WR to be completed before sealing the roads.  The roads in Scissor Tail have been inspected, and we do have some time before the sealing will be necessary. Thanks again for your understanding.

Affordable Asphalt says:  "Start date has changed to September 9th.  The date was pushed back a bit and want to make sure that residents have plenty of notice.  Attached is a letter for the residents and a map of the areas to coincide with the list below of our plan on how we will proceed."((The map is a bit small but that is what was sent to us, we are attempting to enlarge and copy this map, and send this to residents who will be affected, in the hopes that you'll have an email, a google groups email and a notice in your mailbox.  The company says they'll be going door to door too.  We are doing all we can to make sure everyone is aware of this street sealing project))

The Map didn't come through on the post, so I've gone ahead and attached it.  I hope you'll be able to click on it and open it.
Thx so much
